Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every tour, transfer and itinerary booked with Arabian Skyline Tourism. They explain how booking and payment work, what we ask of you on the day, and what you can expect from us. Please read them before you book.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

The key points

  • Your booking is confirmed once we've confirmed it in writing and received your 30% advance payment.
  • The remaining 70% is paid on the day, before your tour starts.
  • Be ready at your pickup point on time. On sharing tours the driver waits about 10 minutes.
  • Dune bashing isn't suitable for everyone. Please read the health and safety section.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow our cancellation policy.

1. About these terms

Arabian Skyline Tourism is a tour agency based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our"). When you book with us, by WhatsApp, phone, email or our website, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your booking. The person who makes the booking must be at least 18 years old.

These terms work together with our cancellation policy and privacy policy. If anything we've agreed with you in writing for a specific booking differs from these terms, what we agreed for that booking applies.

2. Booking and confirmation

  • Sending a booking request through our website or a message is not yet a booking. It asks us to check availability.
  • A booking is confirmed when we've sent you a written confirmation (by WhatsApp or email) and received your advance payment where one is required.
  • Please check your confirmation carefully: the tour, date, number of guests, pickup location and price. Tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
  • Give us the correct number of adults and children and any details that affect your tour, such as children's ages, health conditions or mobility needs.

3. Prices

  • Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). The price we confirm in writing for your booking is the price you pay.
  • Some tours are priced per person and others per vehicle or group. Each tour page makes this clear.
  • Prices on our website may change, for example during peak seasons, public holidays or special events, but a confirmed booking won't change.
  • Optional extras, such as quad bikes, dune buggies, attraction tickets or transfers, are only added if you ask for them, and are confirmed with their price before your tour.
  • Children's prices depend on age and the tour. Tell us the ages of any children when you book and we'll confirm the price.

4. Payment

When you bookTo confirmBalance

On the dayWe'll tell you when we confirmUsually in full before the tour starts
  • Advance payment: for bookings made in advance, we ask for 30% of the total price to confirm your booking and reserve vehicles, seats and activity slots. We'll send you the payment details with your confirmation.
  • Balance: the remaining 70% is paid on the day of your tour, before it starts, in cash or by another method we've agreed with you.
  • Itineraries and groups: the 30% advance covers the whole booking. The balance is paid on the first day of your itinerary, unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Unpaid bookings: if the advance payment isn't received by the time we've agreed, we may release your booking. We'll always message you first.
  • Refunds of advance payments follow our cancellation policy.

5. Cancellations and changes

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before a day tour, and up to 72 hours before an itinerary or group booking. You can move a tour to another date free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup, if there's space. All the details, including no-shows and refunds, are in our cancellation policy.

6. Pickup and timing

  • We confirm your pickup time before the day. Times can vary slightly with traffic and the order of other pickups.
  • Please be ready in your hotel lobby or at your pickup point a few minutes early, with your phone switched on. Give us a phone number with the country code that works on WhatsApp.
  • On sharing tours, the driver waits about 10 minutes, because other guests are on board. If we can't find or reach you, the vehicle has to leave and the booking counts as a no-show.
  • Pickup is included from hotels and homes in Dubai for the tours that list it. Pickup from other emirates or from outside central Dubai may cost extra; we'll tell you before you book.
  • Tour durations are approximate. Traffic, weather and group pace can make a tour start or finish a little earlier or later.

7. Health, safety and age

Desert activities are exciting, but they're physical. For your safety:

  • Dune bashing is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 2 years old, or anyone with back, neck or heart problems, recent surgery or similar conditions. These guests can skip the dune drive and enjoy the rest of the evening at camp.
  • Children must be with a parent or responsible adult at all times. Let us know if you need a child seat.
  • Quad bikes and dune buggies have minimum ages, height limits and safety rules set by the activity provider. Helmets must be worn, and riders must follow the instructions of the safety staff. Anyone who has drunk alcohol or ignores instructions will not be allowed to ride.
  • Always wear your seat belt and follow the instructions of your driver and guides.
  • Tell us about any medical condition, allergy or mobility need that may affect your tour when you book. We'll advise on the best option for you.
  • We recommend that all guests have travel insurance covering medical costs and activities such as dune bashing.

Our staff may refuse an activity to anyone they believe is at risk, without a refund for that activity.

8. Your responsibilities on tour

  • Respect UAE laws and local customs. At mosques and heritage sites, please dress modestly: shoulders and knees covered, and a headscarf for women at mosques that require it.
  • Carry your passport or Emirates ID on day trips outside Dubai and for attractions that ask for ID.
  • No smoking or vaping inside our vehicles, and no alcohol in the vehicles.
  • Look after your own belongings, including phones, cameras, cash and passports.
  • You're responsible for any damage you cause to vehicles or equipment through misuse.
  • We may end a tour for any guest whose behaviour puts others at risk or breaks the law, without a refund.

9. Changes to the programme

We'll always run your tour as described as far as we can. Sometimes we need to change the order of stops, the timing, the route or the camp, because of traffic, weather, road works, official events or the opening hours of attractions. Where a stop can't go ahead, we'll offer an alternative where possible.

During Ramadan and on some public holidays, desert camp shows and dining may be different: for example, some dance shows are not performed, and alcohol may not be served or may only be served at certain times. Attractions such as mosques may also close to visitors for official events.

If we have to cancel a tour completely, for example in bad weather or because the authorities have closed an area, you can choose a new date, a different tour or a full refund, as explained in our cancellation policy.

10. Activity partners and attractions

Some parts of your tour are provided by trusted partners, such as desert camps, quad bike and dune buggy operators, boat operators and attractions. We choose partners carefully, but their own rules, safety requirements and opening hours apply. Tickets for attractions follow the attraction's own terms, and many can't be refunded once booked.

11. Liability

  • We take reasonable care in arranging and running your tour, and we're responsible for the services we provide.
  • We're not responsible for loss, injury or damage caused by your own actions, by not following safety instructions, by undeclared medical conditions, or by events beyond our control.
  • We're not responsible for personal belongings that are lost or damaged during a tour, unless this is caused by our negligence.
  • We're not responsible for costs caused by a missed flight or connection. Please leave plenty of time between your tour and any travel.
  • As far as UAE law allows, our total liability for any booking is limited to the price you paid for that booking.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

12. Feedback and complaints

If something isn't right during your tour, please tell your driver or guide, or message us straight away. That's usually the best chance to fix it. If you're still unhappy afterwards, contact us within 14 days of your tour with your booking details, and we'll look into it and reply.

13. Events beyond our control

We're not responsible for failing to provide a tour, or for delays, caused by events outside our reasonable control. These include extreme weather, sandstorms, natural disasters, road closures, government decisions, public health restrictions, strikes or serious accidents. In these cases we'll offer you the options described in our cancellation policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute that we can't resolve together will be dealt with by the courts of Dubai.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page on the date of your booking applies to that booking.
