How much is a dune buggy ride in Dubai?
Our dune buggy rides cost AED 550 for a 1 seat buggy, AED 750 for a 2 seat and AED 850 for a 4 seat, each for 30 minutes of self-drive with photos included. Hotel transfer is optional at AED 350.
Can I rent a dune buggy in Dubai and drive it myself?
Yes, you drive the buggy yourself. For safety, rides are guided: a lead guide shows the way through the dunes while you drive for the full 30 minutes. It's not an unsupervised rental.
Do I need a driving licence for a dune buggy tour?
No. Dune buggies are driven off-road, so no licence is needed. Bring your original passport or Emirates ID.
Which dune buggy should I choose?
Choose the 1 seat if you want to drive alone, the 2 seat for two people with one driver, and the 4 seat for families or small groups. The comparison table above shows the price per person for each.
Is hotel pickup included in the dune buggy safari?
Not in the buggy price. You can add a hotel transfer for AED 350, or make your own way to the meeting point we send you.
Can I combine a dune buggy with a desert safari?
Yes. A dune buggy ride can be added to any of our desert safaris as a paid extra. Ask us for the combined price.
