How much is a desert safari in Dubai? 2026 prices for every type of safari

If you're planning a trip to Dubai from home, the desert safari price is one of the first things you'll try to pin down, and one of the hardest. Search online and you'll see prices from AED 40 to AED 2,000 for what looks like the same trip. The difference is in what's included, how many people share your car, and what you end up paying for at the camp.

We run desert safaris every day, so here is the honest version: what each type of safari costs in 2026, what the price covers, and what it doesn't.

Desert safari Dubai price per person, at a glance

Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). One US dollar is about AED 3.67, so AED 100 is roughly US$27.

All of our safaris include pickup and drop-off from your hotel or home in Dubai.

What our prices always include

We'd rather you know exactly what you're paying for before you book, so here's how our pricing works:

• The price you see is the price of the package. Pickup, drop-off and everything listed for that safari are included.
• Every extra is listed in writing before you pay. If something costs more, like a quad bike or shisha at your table, we tell you the price up front.
• You only pay 30% to book. The rest is paid on the day, once you've met your driver.
• Asking is free. Message us with questions as often as you like, with no obligation to book.

Morning desert safari Dubai price

From AED 150 to AED 350 per person, with a minimum of 3 guests. Private from AED 750 per car.

The morning safari is for people who are short on time and mainly want the desert itself. There's no dinner and no shows. Instead you get dune bashing, a camel ride, sandboarding and time for photos, then you're back in the city around midday.

Why choose the morning over the evening? It's calmer. The evening safari is the busy one, and at a full camp each guest gets less attention. In the morning there's no rush, the sand is cooler, the light is soft for photos, and your driver has time for you. It also leaves your evening free for dinner or the Dubai Fountain.

Evening desert safari Dubai price

From AED 99 per person. This is the most popular safari in Dubai.

For AED 99 you get:

• Pickup and drop-off from your hotel or home
• Dune bashing in a 4x4
• A short camel ride and sandboarding
• A sunset photo stop
• Five live shows at the camp
• A BBQ buffet dinner, served at set times
• Carpeted floor seating with cushions

What it doesn't include: quad biking (optional, paid extra), the live BBQ (that's part of the VIP safari), and food served the moment you arrive. On a standard safari, the buffet opens at a set time and everyone queues together.

Seen a much cheaper safari? Some companies advertise safaris for well under AED 99. They can be fine, but very low prices are often made up for at the camp, with charges for drinks, the camel ride, photos or even the transfer. Whoever you book with, ask these questions first:

• Is pickup and drop-off included, and from which areas?
• How many people share the car?
• Are dinner, soft drinks and the shows included?
• Is the camel ride included, and how long is it?
• What will I be asked to pay for at the camp?

VIP desert safari Dubai price

From AED 149 per person, about AED 50 more than the standard safari.

The VIP safari includes everything in the evening safari and adds the things most people wish they'd had:

• No queues for dinner. Your meal is ready as soon as you reach the camp.
• A live BBQ, grilled fresh, instead of only the buffet.
• Soft drinks served to your table, so you don't need to get up.
• VIP seating at tables with sofas, instead of floor cushions.

Private desert safari Dubai price

From AED 750 for the whole car, not per person.

A private safari includes everything in the evening safari, but the 4x4 and its licensed safari driver are yours alone. You choose the pickup time, you can stop wherever you like for photos, and nobody else is in the car. Because you pay for the car rather than per seat, it gets good value quickly for families and groups.

Quad bikes and shisha at your table are extra. Want a private car and the VIP camp experience? There's no fixed price for that combination, because it depends on how many of you are coming. Premium desert safari Dubai price

AED 885 for 2 people, AED 1,185 for 3, and AED 1,385 for 4 or 5.

The premium safari includes everything in the VIP safari, plus a quad bike for every guest, so there are no surprise charges on the night. It includes:

• Pickup and drop-off
• VIP dune bashing
• A quad bike ride of up to 30 minutes for each person
• Dinner with no queues, as soon as you arrive
• VIP sofa seating and waiter service

The only extra is shisha. Everything else is in the price. It's for people who want comfort, freedom and more time in the desert, with a driver who works around your plans. See the premium desert safari page for full details.

Overnight desert safari Dubai price

The overnight safari includes the full evening, then you sleep at a desert camp, wake up to the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast before driving back. The price depends on the season, the type of tent and your group size, so message us for today's price.

Dune bashing only, quad bike and dune buggy prices

Not everyone wants a 8-9 hours safari with dinner and shows. Some guests just want the thrill: dune bashing, a quad bike or a dune buggy, in 3 to 4 hours instead of 8 or 9.

This short adventure is only possible as a private tour, and the price depends on what you choose, so ask us on WhatsApp. And if you change your mind on the day and want dinner and the shows after all, your driver can take you on to the camp.

If you're adding an adventure to your safari:

• Quad biking: the quad bike desert safari costs from AED 285 per person, including a 30-minute ride and the full evening at the camp.
• Dune buggy: 30 minutes of driving yourself costs from AED 550 for a 1-seat buggy, AED 750 for a 2-seater and AED 850 for a 4-seater. Hotel transfer is optional, at AED 350. See our dune buggy rides.

Extra costs to know before you book

These are the things that can add to the desert safari price on the night. With us, you'll know about them before you pay.

• Long camel rides. The short ride is included. Longer rides into the dunes are paid.
• Shisha at your table. Free in the camp's shisha corner, around AED 100 to 150 at your own table.
• Custom henna. A small design is free for ladies. Larger designs cost extra.
• Falcon photos. A premium extra at most camps.
• Alcoholic drinks aren't included on any safari.

How booking and payment work

Booking from abroad is simple:

1. Send us your date, group size and the safari you want on WhatsApp, or through the booking form on any tour page.
2. Pay 30% in advance to confirm. The remaining 70% is paid on the day.
3. We confirm your pickup time and location the day before.
